Paint seems an indelicate medium for flowers but not to try…unimaginable.
Can you have a favorite flower? Unthinkable to choose pink over purple, blue before yellow. They speak to us of time’s passage. There is delight in seeing crocus in the snow, saguaro in the desert dazzles us. There is romance in moonglow giants and dancing in windflowers and naked ladies.

About Barn Stories
My name is Pauli Bailey. I'm a painter. I see paintings in every landscape, I always have. Being outdoors lights up all of my senses.
My life has taken me to many places. Most recently, my husband and I moved to Silverton, Oregon in search of rain.
Scores of barns line these country roads. The hip roof, the gambrel, the gable roof are all part of the heritage of the people who built them. They moved here with dreams and they created homes. I suppose as a newcomer, I'm searching for my own home.
By painting the barns, I hope I can encourage you to notice them. I work in acrylic paint. It's fast, like time.
